Fr. Stephen Hagerty, Interim Pastor

Fr. Stephen Hagerty has been interim pastor at St. Stephen's since September 15, 2015. His history is a bit longer, however, as he was Registrar at The General Theological Seminary and has an extensive background in academic administration. A recent seminary graduate, Fr. Stephen has his M.Div. from Yale Divinity School and his Diploma in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. In addition, he has another graduate degree and his Bachelor's degree in Music Performance (Flute) and Social Work.  As Interim Pastor,  Fr. Stephen is involved in every aspect of St. Stephen's life - from worship and preaching, to pastoral care and leadership development, to budgets and administration.  He is passionate about preaching, loves pastoral care and teaching, and those opportunities to talk with parishioners about their own journeys into deeper relationship with God through Christ. He and his husband Fred Nuguid, a physical therapist, have two chihuahuas, Mojo and Kiki. When not at St. Stephen's, Stephen can be found watching Netflix and talking about The Golden Girls.
